Research interests

My research interests are seasonality in uptake and transfer of contaminants in Arctic organisms and food webs, with emphasis on the emerging contaminants

Research projects

Arctic PFAS:Transfer of PFASs through an Arctic pelagic food web, and the tissue distribution of PFAS in Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua), in relation to total protein and lipid composition of organisms and tissues.

Unraveling Onisimus litoralis: What can it tell us about seasonality? Using the littoral amphipod O. litoralis to measure the seasonal changes in baseline physiology and contaminant concentrations to better understand how seasons influence our interpretation of biomarkers of exposures and effects.
