Research interests
The Natural Products and Medicinal Chemistry Research Group teaches and conducts research within two scientific disciplines: medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical analytical chemistry. Medicinal chemistry comprises design and synthesis of bioactive compounds with potential as new drugs, as well as structure-activity studies. Pharmaceutical analytical chemistry comprises qualitative and quantitative analyses of biological compounds based on chromatographic, mass spectrometric, and spectroscopic methods.
