Who can apply?

The board of Centre for Sami Studies announces strategy funds every year. Students at Master or PhD level at the University of Tromsø who are working with Sami and Indigenous related research are invited to apply for funding of research projects and other research related activities.

Please download Guidelines for applicants from the Master's Program in Indigenous Studies or Guidelines for other applicants at Master's and PhD level.

Total amount available in 2013 is limited to NOK 260 000.

Required attachments to the application:

• Short project description 1-2 pages. The description must include relevance to Sami or Indigenous topics (max. 1200 words).
• Statement from supervisor (applies to both master and PhD students)
• Budget
• Plan of progress
