In an article published in Universitetsavisa.no, head of the Department of Academic affairs- International Office, Astrid Revhaug at the University of Tromsø shows concern about the increasing use of education agents in connection with application to English taught courses and programs at the University of Tromsø.

The Faculty of Law has the pleasure of presenting a brand new single course for the spring 2012.

The course in Energy Law will address several interesting topics within this topical subject - among other things; ownership of energy resources, the rules for oil and gas licenses, and legal issues related to renewable energy.

Professor Nigel Banks (Professor II) will be responsible for the course. Professor Banks works at the University of Calgary on a daily basis and has extensive experience and expertise in this particular field.

Application for exchange students through Learning Agreement. Deadline for application is set for January 30.
