Study Programmes in Computer Science
We offer computer science education towards Bachelor, Master’s, and PhD degrees. Throughout we emphasise the development of students’ understanding and skills in designing and implementing systems and architectures that are effective, adaptive and useful in solving real problems. Every course has a significant laboratory component that must be passed to receive a passing grade.

The Department offers two international Master’s degree programmes:
- Master in Computer Science (2-year study)
- Master in Telemedicine and E-health, technology line (2-year study)

All the department's courses are available as singular or elective courses independent of study programme, also to exchange students and free-movers.
All graduate courses (3000-level) and some undergraduate courses are taught in English.
