ESPR Innovation Award, Dr. Laura Tanturri de Horatio
Dr. Laura Tanturri de Horatio, a pediatric radiologist from OPBG in Rome who currently is doing her PhD with us, was awarded the ESPR (European society for pediatric radiology) Innovation Award for her work on a novel MRI scoring system for juvenile idiopathic arthritis changes of the hip.
New PhD
May 3rd 2022, Dr. Oskar W. Angenete, radiologist at StOlavs Hospital in Trondheim, defended his thesis for the Degree of Philosophiae Doctor: "Imaging of the temporomandibular joint in nchildrne with juvenile idiopathic arthritis; references and novel scoring systems for active and permanent disease". Main supervisor was Prof. Karen Rosendahl, UNN/UiT, with Prof. Marite Rygg and Assoc. prof. Knut Haakon Stensæth as co-supervisors.

Ninnie Bakken Oehme, MD, defended her thesis for the Degree of Philosophia Doctor (PhD) at the University of Bergen on March 19th 2021, on the work: "Pubertal development in Norwegian boys". Professor Petur Juliusson, UiB, was main supervisor, with Prof. Karen Rosendahl as one of the co-supervisors. Congratulations!
2 new PhD-fellowships from Helse Nord 2021
Dr Thorsten Köhler, consultant paediatric radiologist, UNN was awarded a PhD fellowship on the project "On securing the diagnosis of abusive head trauma in children; a national, multicentre crossectional study" (main supervisor Prof.Karen Rosendahl, UiT). Dr. Laura Tanturri de Horatio, consultant paediatric radiologist from OPBG in Rome was awarded a PhD fellowship on the project "Whole body MRI in children" (main supervisor Ass.prof. Derk Avenarius, UiT). Congratulations!!

Ingvild Sævold Bruserud defended her thesis for the Degree of Philosophia Doctor (PhD) at the University of Bergen on October 23rd, 2020, on the work: "Pubertal development in Norwegian girls". Professor Petur Juliusson, UiB was main supervisor, with Prof. Karen Rosendahl, UiT as one of the co-supervisors. Today, Dr Bruserud was awarded a post doc fellowship from Helse Vest, to continue her work. Congratulations!
