Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars The course is built around a simulated reality and it is to a large extent based on role play pedagogy, under which the students in interaction with real innovation projects start a venture. The focus is on the formation of the venture and the processes and structural elements that are part of the formation. The role play is primarily built up around internally negotiating the structure of the firm, externally negotiating with investors and by designing the communicative interface of the firm e.g. the business plan. Venture capitalist, lawyers etc. partake in the role play to make it as authentic as possible. Around the role play an inter-disciplinary framework is interacting with the student through lectures and seminars with issues from management, economics, law, and technological perspectives.
