Warning against the use of Application agencies
In an article published in Universitetsavisa.no, head of the Department of Academic affairs- International Office, Astrid Revhaug at the University of Tromsø shows concern about the increasing use of education agents in connection with application to English taught courses and programs at the University of Tromsø.
In this connection the following statement has been issued by the International Office:
In the last couple of years the University has seen a large increase in the number of applications handled and submitted by education agents. Applications received from such agents are not given higher priority or any other advantages compared to applications which are processed and submitted by indivdual applicants themselves.
The same rule applies for applicants to the Faculty of Law, as all applications are processed by the Department of Academic affairs- International Office.
