UiT The Arctic University of Norway offeres unique English taught programmes also at Campus Alta. Check out your possibilities and apply within 1 December!

UiT The Arctic University of Norway is the northernmost university of the world. It is located in Northern Norway, has about 12000 students and four campuses located in Tromsø, Alta, Hammerfest and Kirkenes. No tuition fees are charged at UiT.

Life in the High North is shaped by wild nature, contrasting light and weather conditions, geographic distances and multiculturalism. Many of UiT’s English taught programmes reflect the specific character of the university’s geographic position on the edge of the Arctic. UiT's mission is to represent, research, teach and develop the North.

Campus Alta has been the University College of Finnmark before it merged with the University of Tromsø 1 August 2013. Alta offeres unique study programmes taught in English, most of them at bachelor's level. Application deadline for admission to UiT Alta programmes commencing in autumn semester 2014 is 1 December.
