Invitation to join the 4th National PhD Conference in Medical Imaging
Dear all,
Welcome to the 4th National PhD Conference in Medical Imaging, taking place in Trondheim, 28-29 November 2012!
The event is jointly organized by MedIm and MI Lab. Over the last years, the PhD Conference has developed into an important meeting place for PhD Candidates, early career researchers, and established scientists.
You will find all necessary information following the link at the end of this post.
All PhD candidates, Research Program Students and Post-doctoral fellows in the broadly defined field of medical imaging are welcome to present their work through posters or oral presentations. PhD candidates who have recently started their research training are particularly encouraged to join. All other scientists of the field are most welcome to take part in the discussions and enjoy the presentations. Please forward this invitation to your local network!
Deadline for abstract submission: 20 September 2012.
Eminent invited speakers will take part in all sessions, and most of them will also be present throughout the event.
The event will be fully funded by MedIm and MI Lab, and there is no conference fee. Travel and accommodation grants are available according to criteria described on the conference webpages.
MedIm will award prizes for best poster, best oral presentation and best scientific image. The Technology Transfer Offices will give a prize for the poster/presentation with the highest potential for innovation.
Dinner and social event will take place at Rockheim – Norway's Museum of Pop and Rock.
