UB has a considerable collection of litterature and e-resources in mathematics and statistics. Our subject librarian (has a Ph.D in computer science) is available for aquisition of litterature, teaching, advice in finding and organising information, etc.

E-booksWe get e-books from several publishers. You can find most e-books via Bibsys Ask. UB has access to most of the e-books published by Springer (from 2005). You can find the books via SpringerLink. You can also browse many books on ScienceDirect (some of them not yet in Bibsys). Printed booksUBs printed book collection in mathematics and statistics is located in the library for Science and Health (MH building). They are organised after the MSC classification system. You can find all books via Bibsys Ask. News / tipsWe now have electronic archives of all Lecture Notes of Mathematics and Computer Science from Springer. lwn.net (Linux Weekly news): Create your personal login account while on the university network. This account will then automatically be assigned full access rights. New issue is published each thursday. |
