Gerd Berge

Associate professor

Job description

Associate professor and study program leader for the master's in biomedicine

My interests are cancer research, developing new methods for treating cancer, and increasing the quality of life in patients.

As a teacher, my passion is that students should take responsibility of their own learning. I design my teaching in order to induce feeling of safety, a sence of accomplishment and building relationships among students to promote motivation for learning. Based on this work I was assigned the Teaching Price at Health Faculty in 2022.
