Research interests
My PhD-project focuses on young people's understanding of responsible citizenship. It is connected to the department's focus on ‘democracy, citizenship and equal opportunities in school’, which followed the latest revision of the Norwegian National Curriculum. It is an empirical study with a mixed method approach and a data collection built on didactical principles.
In general, my research interests include democracy, citizenship, mixed methods, didactics, participation, comparative studies, communication, public administration, trade unions, and labour policy.
