My field of research is on infections caused by coagulase negative staphylococci (CoNS), predominantly affecting immunocompromised individuals and premature babies. Clinical CoNS are good biofilm producers and often multiresistant, our main research aim is to identify new targets for treatment.
I am also involved in research on gut microbiome changes in health and disease.
I am employed as Associate Professor at Pediatric Infection group. I am supervising master and PhD students.
