Tina Rishaug
Researcher
Job description
Master's degree in clinical health sciences focusing on obesity and health from NTNU in Trondheim. I have experience from an RCT regarding weight loss and use of ketogenic diets to see changes in appetite and body composition among participants with obesity, to assess its effect on weight loss maintenance.
From March 2022 I have worked as a researcher on a national project on diabetes and e-health at UiT, where the aim is to develop an e-health program to prevent, treat and reverse type 2 diabetes. Initially we are doing a qualitative pre-study to gather information from end-users (people with prediabetes and type 2 diabetes). I also work on an EU-project called WARIFA.
In the national project, I have a coordinating role where I am responsible for recruitment and follow-up of participants, conducting focus group meetings, transcribing and analyzing audio recordings. In the beginning I also contributed to write documents and applications for approval of the study (e.g., data management plan, risk analysis, application of approval, making interview guides, consent forms, questionnaires etc.)
In WARIFA, I have a coordinating role where I am responsble for writing and submitting deliverables.
