Research interests

I am a registered nurse, Master of health sciences and PhD of health sciences. I currently work as  professor in the Department of health and care sciences.

I am far above average interested in aging and old age.

My research interests are in the intersections of critical gerontology, narrative gerontology, and healthcare service research. I am interested in the lives and well-being of older adults in general, and I have a special interest for inequities in health and health care. My methodological expertise is in qualitative research and narrative studies.

I'm professor II at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
