Research interests

Phage therapy, phage–bacteria evolutionary ecology, phage resistance evolution, evolutionary biology, and microbial ecology.

Acinetobacter baumannii as both an opportunistic pathogen and model organism for studying how bacteria evolve resistance to phages.

Phage biology, with a focus on lytic phages and in particular the phage I discovered during my postdoc in the US: Mystique.
