UiT has around 400 exchange agreements with partner institutions from all over the world. We welcome students through bilateral agreements or international exchange programmes such as Erasmus, Nordplus, Barentsplus and North2North.

UiT offers English-taught short programmes on Bachelor’s level in both Alta and Svalbard. Subjects range from Tourism Studies, Arctic Nature Guide to Northern Studies (Online), English and Norwegian. Some course packages can also be chosen by Exchange students.

UiT Campus Tromsø offers an outstanding online-based Joint Master’s degree programme in Arctic governance together with the University of Saskatewan. Campus Alta teaches two Bachelor’s programmes in Northern Studies online.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND FREEMOVER
UiT The Arctic University of Norway has no scholarships to offer to cover your living expenses in Norway unless you already have one before your arrival or under certain exchange schemes in collaboration with UiT and your home university.
The Quota Scheme scholarships and Freemover admission have been discontinued. There will be no further admission under these schemes.
