Åse Hiorth Lervik awards

The Centre for Women’s and Gender Research announces the Åse Hiorth Lervik awards for the best master thesis with a gender-related theme, and the best master thesis with a gender theoretical perspective achieved at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. The awards include a sum of 25.000,-

Nominations should be academically founded and promoted by the candidates’ supervisor or another professional. The link to the thesis and a summary of up to two pages must follow the proposal.

The nomination deadline is the 1st of June. The application can be sent to skk@skk.uit.no

The Centre for Women’s and Gender Research has been awarded the Åse Hiorth Lerviks Award since 1996, in memory of Åse Hiorth Lervik, who was the first female professor hired by UiT, and who played a central part in promoting Women’s Research in Norwegian academics.
