PhD mobility is an important aspect of researcher education to the benefit of both the individual PhD student and the institutions. PhD mobility is often planned on an individual basis. More specific and targeted PhD programmes do actively include mobility and international research stays as integral parts of the study. Possible arangements may vary between departments according to available capacity. Mobility is shorter visits, up to one year, with return to home institution. |
Incomming candidates on PhD mobility need an agreement, existing or specific, with the receiving Faulty, Centre or Unit in order to access relevant research services. Normally incomming candidates need to seek own funding. Outgoing candidates on PhD mobility are also strongly adviced to be covered by an existing or specific agreement with the receiving institution. Candidates need also here to seek own funding; the University has an internal support scheeeme. |
