The research group is responsible for the education programme in Aquamedicine (In Norwegian).

The programme is a 5-year integrated master programme, that gives authorization as "fish health biologist" in Norway. The fish health biologist has thus a legal right and duty to perform diagnostics and to issue prescriptions to medicate aquacultured fish with veterinary medicinal products.

The study programme includes e.g. subjects such as infections diseases, pathology, parasitology, pharmacology, immunology, physiology, legal issues in Norwegian aquaculture and fish welfare.

The research group is responsible for these subjects:
BIO-2604 Fiskesykdommer/Fish diseases (in Norwegian)
BIO-3609 Basic and Comparative Immunology (in English or Norwegian)
