CS-department offers the class: INF-3320/-8320 Middleware spring semester 2015

Department of Computer Science will in the spring semester 2015 offer the class INF-3320/-8320 Middleware.

Target group for this class is master level and PhD students. Recommended prerequisites to take the class is INF-3200 Distrubuted Systems Fundamentals, or equivalent.

Note that the INF-3320 / INF-8320 class will not be offered in the spring semester 2016. 

Accociate Professor Anders Andersen, Department of computer science (UiT) will be responsible for the class. The language of instruction is English and all of the syllabus material is in English.

The class will consist of lectures / laboratory guidance on a weekly basis.

First lecture: Monday January 12th 2015 at 11:15 in Lille Aud (B203), Science building.

The allocated time table do not collide with lectures / study groups for the following computer science classes: INF-3203/INF-8203, INF-3701/INF-8701 or INF-3795.

Registration
Master level students on a 2- or 5-year master program in computer science at UiT must register for the exam through the Studentweb within February 1st 2015.

PhD students
If this class is considered relevant as part of the academic training component for a PhD student the course code INF-8320 Middleware must be used. For internal PhD students (that is, PhD students in science at Faculty of Science and Technology at UiT) it is sufficient to register at the first lecture.
