Course content
In this course, you will learn to master the complexity of creating and extracting financial value from technological innovations and markets by acquiring practical skills. You will also learn to analyze the intellectual dimensions of technological innovations and markets and understand how value can be created in both a material and intellectual value chain, through varying value propositions built on physical products, virtual products, licenses, and services. You will develop modern knowledge-based business skills and tools for creating and analyzing intellectual innovations and markets through an action-based pedagogy including mostly case studies, but also some lectures and exercises.Objectives of the course
The purpose of the course is to give you the practical and hands-on experiences as well as a theoretic knowledge on how to create and extract financial value through the creative design of technological innovations and markets in a knowledge economy.
Students who have successfully completed the course should have achieved the following learning outcomes:
- Gained knowledge and comprehension of the intellectual dimension of technological innovations and their relation to markets.
- Obtained the necessary skills to extract value in the material and intellectual value chain.
- Acquired the competence to create and analyze intellectual innovations and markets.
