Job description

Scientific advisor for the Nansen Legacy project with a PhD in marine biotechnology. In my PhD i focused on the health effects of the novel marine oil "calanus oil", which is derived from the zooplankton Calanus finmarchicus. I focused on the health effects related to obesity, insulin resistance & diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. My PhD was both at the Seafood Science Group at The Norwegian College of Fishery Science of The Faculty of Biosciences, Fisheries and Economics. As well as at the Cardiovascular Research Group at The Department of Medical Biology of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
