Image processing and analysis

The research group focus on mathematical imaging, image processing and gaining information on various aspects in sciences, and technology as well as in the public and private sectors.

Technically, imaging and vision are concerned with the computation, visualisation and the automatic processing of (digital) data. Examples include digital images, which occur in everyday's life where analogue cameras have long been replaced by digital ones or where complex information is processed on smart devices or high resolution screens, as well as images and data resulting from all different kind of sensors, scanners, internets and other sources of samplings, including medical imaging.

The research group is cross-disciplinary.
