Course content

To continue a scientific career after completing a PhD degree, a research grant may be an option. A good idea is needed, but not enough. This course will give insight to the evaluation process, how to interpret a research call and academic and administrative requirements needed to write successful research proposals.

Prior the the course, you are asked to submit a one page draft of your research idea. Work on your proposal after the first three course days, with support from an experienced mentor. The two last days will be spent on presenting your proposal, which enables instant feedback from your peers before the submission of a ¿final¿ draft (exam). You will also be the opponent of one of your peers¿ proposal. The exam forms a solid basis for a future, real proposal.
