Professor

Job description

Temporary Professor II position related to ABSORB – Arctic Carbon Storage from Biomes project, aiming at capture and sequestration of carbon from the atmosphere to Arctic marine and terrestrial biomass. The tasks include support and consultation in research activities regarding experimental, methodological and instrumental approaches related to plant phenotyping and optical monitoring of plants and vegetation. In addition, the position includes teaching and supervision activities, and training in the use of optical instrumentation, such as hyperspectral cameras, and resulting spectral data analysis.
