This talk will focus on the current political situation in Myanmar, how the current crisis of military dictatorship and armed conflict is affecting local communities especially in northern Myanmar such as in Kachin, Sagaing, and Chin states, and how the conflict exacerbates challenges associated with climate change and environmental degradation.
