30.10.2020: An employee at UiT in Tromsø confirmed positive for COVID-19
A person in the Main Administration has tested positive for COVID-19.
On Thursday night, it became known that a person in the Main administration, with an office-address in the Administration building, has tested positive for covid-19.
The infection tracking team will follow up and contact people who are considered close contacts to the person in question. The employee who has been infected has not been at the workplace since Monday and is now in isolation.
- In a situation where infection in society is increasing, it is important that we follow the advice and recommendations given by the infection control authorities, says assistant director at UiT, Gøril Heitmann.
