Interdisciplinary approaches and methodology in peace studies and research

Centre for Peace Studies (CPS) invites to an online webinar 10 September, held on Zoom. As no single discipline offers all the answers to complex social phenomena, including peace and conflict, requires an interdisciplinary approach to it. Peace and Conflict studies (PCS), tough once dominated by IR and political sciences, are now embracing a variety of epistemological and methodological orientation from the disciplines of sociology, anthropology, and psychology to name some. These lectures explore the challenges in interdisciplinary approach in PCS and how it could facilitate a more flexible and creative approach to the field of peace and conflict.
