Outlook Web App - Out-of-Office messages

You can signal your unavailability in Outlook Web App by utilizing the "set automatic replies"/"sett automatiske svar" option.

  1. Log in at https://outlook.office.com
  2. Click the cogwheel in the upper right
  3. Select "set automatic replies"/"sett automatiske svar"
  4. Turn on automatic replies.
  5. Choose a timeframe for the automatic replies, if relevant and desired.
  6. UiT does not support automatic replies to users outside the organization, so this option will do nothing even if you enable it.
    This option is disabled for your own personal security. You may not wish for everyone to be privy to the nature and duration of your absence.
  7. Once you are satisfied, press "save"/"lagre"
