Make your own data management plan

A data management plan helps you to keep track of your data!

If you plan to collect data in a research project, it is a good practice to make a thorough plan in order to manage the data the best way possible at the different stages of the project. Some funders also require that a data management plan is a part of the project description.

A data management plan usually contains information on existing data, documentation of data collection, structure of the data, metadata, how the data will be archived, and if and how they will be shared.

In this course you learn how to make a good data management plan, and what is typically expected by the funders.
