There is an increasing demand from scientific journals and funders to share research data, whenever possible. From the 1st of September 2017, also UiT The Arctic University of Norway will require their employees to share their data.
Data sharing leads to increased visibility of your research, which again may result in more citations and new collaborations. In this course, we will show how to share your research data according to best practice. We will look at how to find a suitable archive and what kind of license you should choose for sharing your data.
We will also provide a brief introduction to UiT Open Research Data, UiT’s service for archiving and sharing open research data.
The University Library offers a variety of courses on research data. For a complete overview, go here.
