Free and unrestricted access to research results is beneficial for science, society and researchers themselves. In addition, governments, funders and institutions require that researchers provide open access to their publications and data.
At this seminar the University Library will tell you about the various policies and requirements, what to keep in mind when you make your publishing decisions and how to manage your research data according to best practice.
Plan for the day:
09:15–11:00 Open access to research publications
11:00–12:15 Lunch break
12:15–14:00 Open research data
The seminar is meant for researchers, PhD students, and administrative staff. Master students and bachelor students are also welcome. For administrative staff there will be an additional seminar (in Norwegian) right afterwards - see here for more info.
