Welcome to an embroidery workshop out of the ordinary! You do not need to know how to stitch. We will provide you with a frame, needles, and thread -- and you just start creating art!
The Research Days (Forskningsdagene) 2021 is about peace and conflict. Marit Aure, leader of the research group Cit-egration (Sustainable diverse cities: Innovation in Integration) at UiT, in collaboration with textile artist Marsil Andjelov Al-Mahamid, offers the people of Tromsø an embroidery workshop and a short research presentation about art in cross-cultural encounters.
Come to Tromsø library (2. floor), Wednesday 22. september 13.00-14.30. To be able to keep one meter distance during the event there is limited seating. There are no tickets or reserved seating, so in other words - first come first served.
