The exhibition on Fridtjof Nansens expedition with the polar ship "Fram" to the Nort Pole in 1893 to 1896. It is mainly based on a subjectiv selection of picture available at the University Museum in Oslo.

Exact copy of Hjalmar Johansens kayak from the first Fram expedition in 1893-1896. The copy is made by Anders Thygesen. The original is exhibited at the Fram Museum in Oslo. The kayak was a gift from Fritz Heisler, Austria, given with respect and devotion to the most famous Norwegian polar explorer: Hjalmar Johansen.
