At the University Library you can find course reading material and other academic literature to use when you are working on an assignment. We offer easy access to a wide selection of electronic resources like e-books, e-journals, and academic databases. We also offer study spaces and rooms for group work.

How do I borrow books?
Your student card or the student app works as your library card. It will be functional as soon as you have completed the semester registration.
How long can I keep my borrowed books?
The guaranteed loan time is 2 weeks. After that, the loan will renew automatically for 2 more weeks as long as there isn’t a waiting list for the book. The maximum time to can borrow a book for is six months. You will get a message via e-mail or SMS when you need to return the book to the library. If there is not a waiting list for the book then you can borrow the book again.
How do I get a user account at UiT?
To be able to use the IT services at UiT you need to have an active user account.

You will need an active student card (your student ID), to use the printers.
