Exchanges at The Faculty of Law

Are you interested in international law? Do you want to improve your language skills? Does travelling, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures sound tempting?

In the coming years, the Faculty of Law will prioritise internationalisation in education and research. Initially for students, this will mean an increased focus on taking part of your programme abroad. All students on the Master’s degree programme in Law are encouraged to make use of our exchange agreements. In recent years, the faculty has signed several cooperation agreements with higher education institutions abroad. There are excellent opportunities for our students to go on exchanges through the Nordplus and Erasmus+ programmes. Students can also use our bilateral agreements with universities in Scotland, Wales, Australia, USA and China.

Where and when?

You can go on a student exchange in the fifth unit for either a semester or a full year. This means that you either take your specialized subjects abroad or you can choose to do a Master of Laws (LL.M) programme, which involves taking your specialized subjects and writing your Master’s thesis. The overview below shows the various options available.

If you have any questions about student exchanges, please contact International Coordinator Lene Emilie Øye.
