Places of unrest

The research project Places of Unrest focuses on how animism still forms part of perceptions of nature in northern Norway and points to a past Sámi cosmology also in seemingly Norwegianized areas. The notion that places can remember, and remember human action, forms a starting point and an opening for reviewing past and present understandings connecting judicial/spiritual concerns to human/nature relationships.
