The ARC Methodology is an interdisciplinary study funded by ARC that seeks to establish a conceptually new way to look at the sustainability of technologies. Core questions are how sustainable green technologies really are and how we might account for the impact on ecological systems when assessing the efficiencies of these technologies.
In the study, three researchers from the Department of Philosophy at UiT propose a framework where researchers and practicioners are invited to evaluate green technologies on the basis of synergies with the natural environment.
