Get to Know the Nature and People of the North

Our exhibitions are, of course, also open. With us, you can journey through the history of Northern Norway, all the way back to the creation of the Earth, and discover a region where people have adapted to a highly variable climate over thousands of years.

Through our exhibitions, you can explore Sámi history, the geology and zoology of Northern Norway, Viking Age boat burials, and the region’s advanced Northern Lights research, among many other fascinating topics.
