EndNote
- Staff with desktop computers (connected to UiT’s network) may download the program by going to LANDesk Desktop Manager.
- You will find the EndNote program in the Software Deployment Portal. Mark the program name and click Deploy.
- For installation on other types of computers, go to LiReg (and then All agreements).
- You find information about compatibility under Install 3 on this page.
- If you encounter problems installing the problem, please contact Orakelet.

- UiT styles updated before August 2013 are downloaded automatically with the EndNote program
- Instructions for manual downloading of an EndNote style
- Open the downloaded style in EndNote
- Save the style (File --> Save as...)
- In order to use the style, go to Style Manager and check the box in front of the style name.
Connection files
- When you import references from an external database via EndNote (Online search function), EndNote uses connection files to connect EndNote and the external database.
- The connection files to the databases the University Library of Tromsø subscribes are downloaded automatically together with the program.
- For Mac users who use the X5 version (or an earlier one), upgrade to X6 or click here to download the connection files.
- Open the downloaded connection files in EndNote (or only the file you wish to save)
- Save the connection file(s) (File --> Save as...)
- In order to use one of the connection files, go to more under Online search and select the file in question
