Title: " Critical psychiatry in the age of AI "
Lecturer: Associate professor Sandra Anna Just, Department of Clinical Medicine, UiT

Abstract
As AI and technology become more integrated into psychiatry, clinicians and researchers face new ethical challenges and responsibilities. This lecture explores what it means to practice critical psychiatry today, focusing on the intersection of psychiatry, philosophy, and technology. Focusing on her research on NLP in psychosis, Sandra Just will examine where AI-based tools can be useful and where they might do harm. She will also share insights from her research on other vulnerable groups and broader ethical issues in psychiatry, such as stigmatization and ethical conflicts, and discuss why transparency, accountability, and critical thinking are more important than ever in the field.
