Science with and for Society Work Programme 2016-17 Overview
The Science with and for Society Work Programme 2016-17 shows continuity with the main directions of the current 2014-15 Work Programme. The focus of the SWAFS Programme remains on eight issues: gender equality, attractiveness of scientific careers, integration of citizens' interests and values in research and innovation (R&I), formal and informal science education, accessibility and use of research results (Open Science), responsible research and innovation (RRI), anticipation of potential environmental, health and safety impacts, and science communication.
The SWAFS Programme will mainly support Coordination and Support Actions and some Research and Innovation Actions. One topic with the budget of €5mln is dedicated to ERA-NET type activity to promote Gender Equality in H2020 and the ERA (SwafS-02-2016).
