Job description

Legal Adviser in the secretariat for the Commitee of Student Affairs. Facilitates and prepares cases for consideration by the Commitee.

Provides advice on the regulatory framework, including the Universities and University Colleges Act, the Public Administration Act, the Regulations relating to Studies and Examinations at UiT, and the Regulations relating to Admission at UiT.

Handles, among other things, cases concerning suspected academic misconduct in examinations, remarks on police certificates of conduct, appeals against denied admission to examinations, formal errors in examinations, refusals of local admission, and refusals of accommodations.
