Trine Stub
Job description
Trine Stub is employed full-time as a research professor in health services research - alternative treatment.
Her responsibilities include initiating and conducting various types of studies, as well as being involved in existing projects within NAFKAM's strategy and focus areas. The position also involves supervising students at the master's and PhD level.
Error rendering component
Research interests
Use of alternative treatment among children with cancer, development of decision-making tools for alternative treatment and childhood cancer, patient safety and side effects of alternative treatment, and alternative treatment for chronic pain. Communication and patient-therapist relationship. Traditional medicine.
Mixed method research
Qualitative research with users of alternative treatment, attitudes and communication about alternative treatment among healthcare professionals, alternative practitioners, and users/patients, safety and risks associated with alternative treatment, as well as ethical and philosophical questions/challenges related to its use.
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses
Surveys on alternative treatment among practitioners, various patient groups, and healthcare professionals.
