Supervision of Master/PhD students.
Icing on ships, atmospheric icing, hectometric numerical weather prediction.
Currently we are working on a project where we try to improve the prediction of icing on helicopters in cooperation with Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation (NAAF) and the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.
Research interests
Icing on helicopters, icing on ships, mountain waves, gap winds, turbulence, polar meteorology, Arctic boundary layer meteorology. Numerical weather prediction.
