Prasadini Uresha Padmasiri


Job description

Prasadini Padmasiri is a PhD Fellow in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Her research focuses on the development of a machine learning-based prediction model for detecting migraine attacks using biometric data collected from wearable sensor devices. As part of the project, she is involved in data collection, mobile health app development, data analysis, and applying machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy of migraine prediction.

She holds an MSc in Information Technology from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), Sri Lanka. Prior to joining UiT, she worked as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Technology, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.
