Job description
I am a researcher and teaching assistant in the Department of Computer Science at UiT-Bodø. My research focuses on improving resource control in fisheries using deep learning. I apply Time Series Transformers to AIS, VMS, and ERS data to predict the arrival ports of fishing vessels, detect fishing activity and gear use, and identify cases where fish species have been rewritten in sales notes.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management and a master's degree in Geomatics, both from Delft University of Technology.
