I am a member of the Research Group in Organization and Leadership (FIOL) at the Department of Social Sciences.

My background:
Over the years, I have become an organizational sociologist, but my educational background is interdisciplinary, covering humanistic, social science, and classical business disciplines. In addition, I am a trained coach and mentor (PgDip, Oxford-Brookes University/ the OCM).

Before joining UiT, I was affiliated with Goethe University Frankfurt (Chair of Sociology of Work), Aarhus University (Department of Business Development and Technology), and the Work Research Institute at OsloMet (Research Group for Innovation and Enterprise Development). Additionally, I have had research stays at the Department of Sociology at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, been involved in the development of the Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations at Goethe University, and participated in Professor Dr. Axel Honneth’s research colloquium at the same institution.

I worked a decade each in business and in management consultancy respectively, giving me encompassing knowledge on the workings of organizations, as well as a hands-on perspective on organizational change and development. I am an experienced process consultant, with a proven record of accomplishment with top-tier companies as well as public organizations. Additionally, I am an experienced project manager.
